To Our Customers,
We are writing to notify you about an issue that may involve your Havaianas online account information in the Philippines.
What Happened?
On 20 March 2024, we learned that an unauthorized party obtained personal information associated with our customers, through the platform of our mobile application provider.
What Information Was Involved?
The personal information for affected customers includes your name, address, phone number and email.
Your password, payment card and/or bank account information were not compromised.
What We Are Doing?
Promptly after learning of the issue, we engaged in a serious review of the matter and notified the National Privacy Commission within the mandated 72-hour notification period. Our investigation is ongoing, and we are working quickly to determine further details of this incident. To protect our customers, we have suspended the Havaianas Philippines mobile app while we review all our internal protocols and that of our third-party mobile applications provider.
We will continue to take actions to enhance our system security and safeguard information of our valued customers.
What You Can Do?
We recommend you remain vigilant and take steps to protect your personal information. Additionally, be cautious of any unsolicited communications that ask for your personal information or refer you to a web page asking for personal data.
